Political Carrier

Prasad Lad has been affiliated with politics for more than 25 years now. In 2014, he contested in elections for MLA in the entrepreneurial constituency from Antop Hill (Pratiksha Nagar) and stood 4th in position.After a Gap of 5-6 months, he again stood for MLC elections and lost by 2 votes to Bhai Jagtap of Indian National Congress.

2015 was the year when he was elected as the director of Mumbai District Central Co-operative Bank for the period of 5 years.

Mr. Prasad Lad joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2016.

He stood as a BJP Candidate for MLC in 2017 and defeated Dilip Mane in the by-poll elections by 209 votes.

He was appointed as Vice President of Maharashtra in 2018.
